Salvations in the Millennium

The Bible is filled with prophecies. Many of the prophecies have already

been fulfilled, and some are yet to be fulfilled. When you study the Biblical prophecies that have already been fulfilled, one will find that they are unbelievably accurate, unlike astrologers and psychics. For example, the Bible details the life of Christ hundreds of years before He was born. From the town of His birth, to the virginity of His mother, to His crucifixion, it is all given in specific details. The Bible also gives us a prophecy that Jesus Christ will one day rule the world for 1000 years, which Bible-believing Christians refer to as the millennium.

I was recently asked if the Bible says anything about salvations during the millennium.

At the end of the tribulation, the Lord will gather all nations of those who lived through the tribulations whose armies he destroyed
Matthew 25:31-32
"When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be
gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:"

Then Jesus will judge them by how they treated the Jews during the tribulation, which will be what reveals their faith in Jesus Christ.
Matthew 25:33-46

He will then allow these saved and regenerated believers to enter into the millennial kingdom. They will have the privilege to live in their natural bodies and to reproduce offspring for 1000 years. During the thousand years, Christ will rule the earth during the millennium.

At the end of the millennium, the Bible says in
Revelation 20:6-10
"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall
reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

The Bible does not give specific details about the millennium, but there are a few things that we can extract from these scriptures.

1. There will be no temptation from the devil or his angels because he will be chained for a thousand years in hell.
Revelation 20:6

2. There will be no temptation from the world because Christ will rule and will create a perfect environment.

3. Despite these advantages over growing up in this age, there will still be people who reject the Messiah, because it says the devil will "
deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth". The only reason for this would be because of the people alive during the millennium will not be perfect, they will still have to deal with their inherited sinful nature from Adam and will need regeneration. They will believe Jesus is the Messiah, they will believe He is God, but as James said, "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." -James 2:19

For salvation, one must change their mind concerning their sinful condition toward God. It is likely that life will be so perfect that, in their pride, people will not feel that they need redemption. They will, as people do today, look at Christians and say to themselves, I can do everything they do for God and reject the redemption that is through Christ alone.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
-John 14:6

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
-Matthew 7:21-23

At the end of the millennium, Satan will rally the last generation of rebels through deception. This group will be worldwide since they will be in "the four quarters of the earth". This shows that even with satan bound for 1000 years the old nature of man will still resist the truth of Gods love for the sinner. So much for the humanistic thought that a child learns to do wrong because of his environment, and if you could raise a child in a perfect environment they will do right. You won't be able to get any more perfect than the millennium.
