This is my Story!
I was born in Manchester, New Hampshire in the U.S. As a young person, I grew up in the Methodist church and stopped attending when I was 12. I thought I had already learned what church was trying to teach… be a nice person, and Jesus died so we could go to heaven.

Keith Hamilton (me) 1993 - Age 17
As my teenage years pressed on, I found myself in the beginning of a raging drug habit and all the wicked things that go along with that life style. I was sinking fast and was so ashamed of myself. I sought many methods of escaping, even considering suicide. After graduating, I got a job at an electronics factory. I was not looking for God in any way, but I had a neighbouring coworker who told me how much God loved me. She told me that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for sinners, and that everyone is a sinner, not just alcoholics and drug addicts. My problems were not a disease, I chose to sin. I always thought that I would go to heaven because God loves people, and I wasn’t such a bad person; at least not as bad as some others. I was wrong, and the Bible proved it.
I watched my coworker and saw the joy she had, her calm assurance that she knew she was going to heaven when she died. I wanted to know that joy, peace and assurance of heaven. This neighbouring worker shared the truth with me from the Bible. Sin, my sin, was weighing heavy on me in two ways:
1. That my drug habit was hurting me and those around me
2. I now realised that I was lost and would pay for my sins in Hell!
I believed the Bible was God’s word and a Holy Book. I finally believed what the Bible said, not the church that told me I was ok if, I was just a confirmed, religious, Methodist. I got scared! I needed more than religion; I needed a relationship with Jesus Christ. My neighbour showed me how to be saved from the Bible. Each verse was such wonderful truth. I understood what I needed to do. I had to ask Jesus Christ to save this sinner. It was May 12th 1995, on a Friday afternoon in a carpark, that I bowed my head and asked Jesus Christ to save my soul. He did! Joy flooded my soul!
All that I had learned about being “saved” and “born again” from the Bible came alive and became true in my life. I had finally realised Jesus died for me! I now have a wonderful life only because Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord. When tough times come, He is right there to take me through. I just wanted you to know that – and this…
Jesus Christ can do for you what a church cannot do. Jesus Christ can save you from eternal death and give you eternal life!
QUESTION…
What are you waiting for? What has to happen before you will trust Him to save you?
I hope you realise that what you need most of all is God’s forgiveness in your life, like I did. It is such a comfort to know that God could love a world of selfish, sinful people like you, and me! But God did more than just love us – He personally paid for all our sins (all of them) when He gave us His Son to die in our place!
Think about it… the Bible says in John 3:16 “For God so loved THE WORLD, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 5:8 says, “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Jesus’ death in our place was THE greatest act of love ever done. It is why I am asking you right now to consider your soul’s condition before God. Are you still in your sins, or would you like to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be saved today? God promises in Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
